We warmly congratulate Johann on achieving 1st kyu and Ruth on achieving 2nd kyu. Both took part in the examination course in Bad Dürkheim on the last weekend in November and passed their exams with flying colours. Susanne and Ulrike also took the 4th kyu exam at Makiwara on 27 November and were successful. Now they can – or must – practise at 28 metres to prepare for the 3rd Kyu.
Congratulations to Ruth on passing her 3rd kyu and Johann on his 2nd kyu. Both attended the exam preparation seminar on 13 September in the beautiful Rottweiler Dojo and successfully passed their exams today.

On 3 March, 8 members of our Heidelberg Kyudo department made their way to Rottweil. The aim was to attend a basic Taihai course.
We congratulate Mia and Eva on passing their 5th kyu examination. Both shooters impressed with their confident performance in Taihai and kicks.
On 14 January, the Kyudo department held its New Year's shooting competition. In the year of the wooden dragon, we chose Mushu and his gruel from Mulan as our target. The task was to hit a fried egg.
The Aikido, Ju-Jutsu, Karate and Kyudo departments ended the year together with an interdisciplinary workshop.
