For the first time, we were able to welcome the new head of Sansuikai Germany, Sensei Jochen Maier, to our training course on 2 - 4 May 2025.

Over three days, we worked on basic Aikido techniques under his guidance. This was particularly valuable for the younger students, but it also gave the more experienced ones the opportunity to refine the small but essential movements.

In Jiyu-Waza, Sensei then repeatedly gave us the opportunity to find joy in the movement and the tempo so that we didn't get too "overhead". A particular highlight, however, was the work on Tada-Sensei's Jo-Kata, especially exciting in the Kumi-Jo setting.

On behalf of the PSV-Heidelberg, we would like to thank Sensei for making this course possible. We would also like to thank all the helpers, participants and especially the guests who found their way to us, in particular the Aikidoka from Stuttgart, Esslingen and Waiblingen.
It was an intensive and inspiring weekend, during which we were also able to celebrate extensively and strengthen our friendship.

We are already looking forward to a repeat next year!
