Congratulations to the 1st and 2nd Kyu!
At the end of the year, Aika Marie Tada and Ralph Pfahler successfully passed their 1st and 2nd kyu examinations respectively.
PSV Christmas workshop and party
The Aikido, Ju-Jutsu, Karate and Kyudo departments ended the year together with an interdisciplinary workshop.
4th Dan for Sebastian Ehrhard
Our trainer and deputy head of the Ju-Jutsu department Sebastian Ehrhard passed his 4th Dan examination in Rastatt on 10 December. Together with 6 other candidates, he was able to demonstrate his skills.
Fast pace at the Aikido workshop with Jisch Scheuren
On 4 and 5 November, we welcomed Jisch Scheuren from Luxembourg and some of his students from Kopstal-Bridel to the dojo for a workshop. There were two sessions on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The basic idea was to apply numerous different holds and throws from the same entrance.
Karate - Kyu exam for children on December 12th
Our first karate kyu exam in the new dojo for children and teenagers. Everyone showed solid to outstanding performances. There were well-deserved examination certificates.

Ju-Jutsu youth training from 14
Ju-Jutsu training for young people aged 14 and over takes place every Monday at 18:00. Our qualified trainer and former competitor Richard will teach you the basics of kickboxing, cool judo throws, holding techniques and much more.
ZEN meditation: New at PSV Heidelberg
Under the guidance of Karl Kiening, anyone interested will meet on Thursdays from 17:00 to 18:00 from 9 November 2023 for an introduction to ZEN meditation.
The group is open to all club members. Non-club members are welcome to come along up to three times for a taster session.
