Congratulations to Johannes! After intensive preparation, he passed his 1st dan examination. Kyudo successfully passed. The examination was conducted as a video recording in our dojo and then evaluated by Japanese teachers. Since the coronavirus pandemic, this format has enabled access to official dan examinations for the 1st and 2nd dan while maintaining high standards. Johannes’ success is a fine example of commitment and discipline in kyudo. With his 1st dan, he now strengthens our group as an official dan holder. We look forward to continuing to train and grow together on the path of Kyudo.
