On 9 November 2025, our Karate Department chair Adriane Marksteiner (2nd from left) passes her 2nd dan Wado-Ryu examination. Congratulations on your success!

Under the watchful eyes of examiners Imai (9th dan), Sousa (8th dan) and Pellegrini (7th dan), she delivered an outstanding performance, which was expressly praised by the examiners.

Sixteen participants took part in the long and rigorous examination in Hamburg, twelve of whom passed, including our friends Markus Tak (third from right) from the TSG Weinheim and David Jennings (second from right) from the TSG Dossenheim, each for the first dan.
