Under the slogan "Sport moves Germany", the DOSB, funded by the federal government, is running the "ReStart - Sport moves Germany" programme until the end of 2023. After the coronavirus pandemic, the aim is to get more people moving again and get them excited about sport.

Anyone who joins a new club or resumes membership and thus sports can apply for a sports club voucher worth 40 euros each as a subsidy for the membership fee. The period for this is from January 2023 to August 31, 2023.
