Aikido cannot be understood through words or watching - it can only be understood through direct experience. Perception is crucial: feeling your own centre and the connection with your partner. This is exactly what the course with Yamashima Takeshi Shihan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the 27 to 29 June 2025<\/strong>\u00a0was his second visit to our dojo. In co-operation with the Aikido School Mannheim e.V.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0we were able to welcome numerous international participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yamashima Sensei, one of the last Uchi-Deshi<\/em> by \u014csensei Ueshiba Morihei, was accompanied by two of his students. His central concern:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What sounds obvious in Bud\u014d is easily forgotten in practice. This made it all the more impressive to witness how the eighty-year-old master uses minimal movements to unbalance his partners - almost invisible to outsiders, but immediately noticeable to everyone who practised with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
